The overall job was done to my satisfaction. My feelings about their business practices left me a few questions. I felt they overcharged for some labor and materials. My advice would be to read the contract and ask questions before signing it.

I used The Blue Lake Group for the first time this month to have some mosaic back splash tile install in my kitchen. The installation tech was Jeffery, who I feel was very professional. He came in went right to work installing my back splash and was finished in 3 hours as he initially stated he would be. I am pleased with the results of the work, and would use this company again for future home improvements. In addition, I would recommend The Blue Lake Group to anyone interested in having home improvement work done around their house, or to those who may be somewhat skeptical about trying them for the first time. So go ahead, try them, I think you will be just as satisfied as I am.

Jeffrey installed glass mosaic tile backsplash in our kitchen . It looks beautiful! He cleaned up the workspace at the end of each day. He was very professional. Melissa was also very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Blue Lake Group.

I recently had the The Blue Lake Group remodel my master bath. Initially, I was a little nervous but Philip assured me that everything would go as planned. He was correct. Crystal and Philp of The Blue Lake Group provided me with daily updates along with pictures showing the progress for that day. They remodeled my shower with double shower heads, installed floor warmers and tile, new fixtures and lights, installed a granite countertop and framed my vanity mirror just to name a few. In addition, my hot water heater unexpectedly went out and they installed a new heater and did not miss a beat with the bathroom. I highly recommend The Blue Lake Group if you are looking to spruce up your home.

I had an excellence experience with The Blue Lake Group. They were always on time and answered all my questions before the work began. They built a small retaining wall to keep the backyard from washing into the creek area that runs behind my house. Their work was efficient, effective, and professional. I would use them again and recommend them to other needing of their services. I would use them again and recommend them to other in need

I hired The Blue Lake Group to repair a sinking pillar on my back deck. The Blue Lake Group was overall acceptable as a general contractor. I took off 2 stars for 2 reasons. First, was the constant delays. The project was original quoted at 3 days, but it actually took them over 2 weeks to complete the project. 3 of the delay days were because of weather, which is perfectly acceptable, but the other 10 days were the result of The Blue Lake Group. It took them 4 days to setup the scaffolding needed to complete the job. They didn't actually start the job work until 5 days after the start date of the project. When I asked why things were moving so slow, I was told they had some other projects they were working on. They should not have accepted my project if they were overloaded with other jobs. The second reason I took off a star, was the terrible level of communication I received. My main contact on this project, Rick, the father in the father son team, was terrible at communicating with me. With all of the delays that occurred, he didn't come to me once to update me on the status. I had to go to him and ask why nothing had been done for 3 days. When they changed one of the original planned and quoted pieces of the project, they never informed me. I had to ask them at the end why it was not done. I did deal a little with Josh, the son, towards the end of the project, and he was great with communication. If I ever use them again, I will ask to deal exclusively with Josh. Overall, they did the repairs and they did them well, but the consistant delays and lack of communication from Rick concerning the project really made the whole experience unenjoyable and irritating.

The installers showed up at the appointed time. There was an increase in the quoted price after the work had begun. The increase was due to the carpet not been new and more work would be required of the installer. Also thet had to patch together the carpet padding. The carpet not the padding was in one complete roll. I was quoted an increased of $175.00 -$275.00 to complete the job right.I agreed to pay an additional $50.00 toward completion of the work for a total cost of $225.00. They stated the carpet would need to sewing together in both rooms because the used carpet would not fit the rooms in one complete fit. The carpet would also need to be stretched. The carpet was installed but not stretched because I didn't have the additional funds to pay for the services. However, after later review I noticed to flaws to the finish work. I woild have felt much better if I had been told about the increase before the job had begun.Overall I was very satisfied with the work.
