Charged at $95 / hr for labor instead of previously agreed over phone amount of $80. All materials were charged at rates 50% higher than HomeDepot. Did not clamp the pipe making it somewhat unsafe.

Problem reported by a different plumber consisted of rerunning drain from kitchen sink to septic tank, approx. 150 ft. Texas Quality Services found a clog in the sink, correct the stoppage and all worked well. I used them on a second job already. Price was as quoted.

The quality of work was excellent. The workers were respectful and cleaned up as they worked. There was a bit of a problem in making the appointment on time; however, once they arrived they worked diligently and did not waste time.

My simple toilet install request turned into a much larger job due to the inferior work by the previous owner of my house. TQS worked with me to figure out the solution, and Victor completed the job. He did excellent work, was very easy to deal with, and completely cleaned up after the job. I will definitely recommend this company to friends.

Fantastic service! Victor, the plumber, was very polite and efficient. And timely! He was at my door just an hour after I spoke with the office manager about my water heater problems. Same day service and all repairs completed. I highly recommend.

I tried to hire them, but they never returned my email setting up an appointment. Haven't heard back from them for over two weeks. My problem hasn't been fixed.

They came to help with an non-functional sewage pump. However they really didn't have their act together. First they told us our electrical lines to the pump were giving really strange readings, but they decided the problem was likely with the pump, so they never followed up with it or fixed it. Then they told us we needed to have the sewage pit pumped out, something they couldn't do, but could refer us to someone to do it for $400 (and who wouldn't be able to make it out until the next day anyway). We ended up finding someone else to do it, but in our original request we made it clear this was something we needed help with ASAP (sewage in the yard isn't a pretty sight/smell) and here was our first delay. Then we had it pumped at 7am the next day (at which point we couldn't flush/use water until the problem was fixed), so as to give these guys as much time as possible to work on it. However they weren't able to come back to work on our problem until 1:30pm they said. Then some other job of theirs ran late, so they showed up even later (these kind of things happen, but we wouldn't have pumped it out so early if they had communicated these things to us). I keep saying "they", but only one guy showed up. He needed to remove the pump from the pit in order to inspect it, but that is a two-person job. So he spent a significant amount of time trying to call someone to help him out. He couldn't get anyone. So he had to ask me for help getting it out. Thankfully my husband's mother was there there to watch my 3-month old son so I could help. Once the pump was out, he identified the problem was with the piping leading from the pump and would need to dig that out and replace it. Again he was unable to get anyone to help, so he did as much as he could until the sun set. Thankfully he came back VERY early the next morning (no flushing for that long is not fun) with a helper and finished the job. He was a good hard worker, but the level of organization was severely lacking. We were billed for quite a few hours of a plumber and a few hours of a helper. I wonder how much of that bill was taken up by the plumber calling around looking for someone to help, and how much would have been saved if the (cheaper) helper had been available to speed along the plumber's digging. At least he didn't bill me the helper rate for my own work helping him. Hah! I'll say it again, the guy was hard working and did a good job. The organization of the business would not make me want to choose them to work on my home again.

I called twice to ask for a quote update and was advised both times that someone would call me back to update the quote but they never called back either time. I would not recommend a contractor who doesn't even call a prospective client back after being called twice. I don't have time to keep contacting Texas Quality Services to give them my business.

I was extremely disappointed that the plumber spent approximately 3 hours installing a broken water softener, and then did not have time to go swap it for one that would work. So I had to allow 3 more days of hard water to run through the house AND pay an extra $50 to have a working softener installed on Monday. Why am I paying $50 when the water softener should have been inspected before it ever left home depot? and the job wasn't complete on Friday, as scheduled?

The install looked good and was professionally done. I didn't really like that the first appointment I made was delayed until 5pm, and then when the guy got here he said he didn't have a special tool, and the only place that sold it closed at 5. I have no idea how that works, but the water softener was installed anyway.

He did a fantastic job. I purchased the sink disposal before he arrived. He noticed the electric cord on my old disposal was the wrong size for the new one. Since I was not able to leave my house to purchase the right sized cord, he went to the hardware store to acquire the correct part for the installation. I would definitely hire Texas Quality Services again.

The price was a little less due to the fact that I had already bought parts at the Home Depot. Victor arrived right on time which is always appreciated. He was polite, friendly and easy to work with. The work was done well and everything was very nicely cleaned up afterwards. I will use them again for another issue that I have going on.

Good overall. Punctual, courteous, no $ surprises. A week later the work is still good. Would have given 5 stars, but they left some trash around the work site and charge a service fee to use a credit card.

Price paid included extra work not in the original bid. All work was satisfactory and I would use Texas Quality services again. S Texas Quality was not the low bid , but low bid is not always the best. Mel Alexander

Texas Quality Services did a great job. They were on time, in budget per the quote, extremely professional, friendly and easy to work with. They were also very honest and thorough in their diagnoses & explanations about my plumbing problem. I carefully selected them after collecting quotes from 5 different companies and was very pleased with my selection. Now that I’ve discovered them, I plan to use them again as needed in the future. And I will also look to Redbeacon for help in the future. Thank you!

Since I couldn't put in exactly what I needed done, I liked that Texas Quality wrote that they wanted to come out to confirm the bid, which all came in as I had expected. The hard part came in making sure a coupon I had was applied, but in the end it was, and Kevin with Texas Quality as well as Red Beacon kept checking in to make sure all was done right. I will definitely use them both again.

Excellent and fast work on installing shut-off valves and faucet, garbage disposal and sink drain in new kitchen sink. They also came out same day I called to install new shut-off valves so we wouldn't we be without water in entire house. How nice! The price paid included the valves and pvc pipe. I was very happy with the service.

They haven't replaced the garden tub yet. We had noticed water leaking from the garage ceiling, and notified our worthless home protection company, who sent a plumber to find out what the source of the leak was, and he found cracks in the upstairs master bath, which we were then told was not covered by the worthless home protectioin company, and I had to pay the plumber. I then put the request on your website, and Texas Quality Services advised that the tub would just leak again if repaired, so quoted us on replacing it. After finding our that our home owners insurance deductible is over $2,000, I called Texas Quality Services back and scheduled them to do the work. They are going to do that on Wednesday 8/1/12.
