Born and raised in a rural Amish community in southwestern Indiana, I now reside in sunny Southern California. I have been actively involved in the construction field since I purchased, remodeled and sold my first house in 1991. Between 1991 and 1999 my brother and I purchased four separate apartment buildings (30 units total), that were dilapidated and in great need of repair. We repaired and rented each unit and remodeled the exteriors of each building. During that time I also built two homes (one in 1995, sold in 1996 and another in 1998, sold in 2000). I moved to the Los Angeles area in 2001 and obtained my contractors license here in 2003. Currently I work on electrical rewires, re-plumbing work, bathroom remodels, kitchen remodels and entire home remodels. I also do small jobs and handyman work between larger jobs. My General Contractor “B” license allows me to do any type of work, electrical, plumbing and repairs of all types.

Remember contractors are not generic. We are not like choosing a container of salt. If you choose low bid of three estimates, only because he is low bid, then expect to "get what you pay for". In the end, you may be unhappy with your "low bid" contractor who saves money by cutting corners and leaves that one eyesore that you must wake up to everyday that sticks in you mind like a thorn in your side. I am not always the highest estimate, nor am I always the lowest estimate, but always a very detailed, fair and well thought out estimate that will rarely change at the end of the project.
