pulled up and replaced driveway, used 3/8" rebar and 4 inches of concrete. Had scheduling issues with concrete company, but crews stayed late to insure best results. replaced about 120 lf of fence, built two gates and stained. crews HAND dug the holes along alley so as to not disturb utilities. dug out area and poured about 500 sf of patio. cut and trimmed large stone pavers for perfect fit. Waited until weather permitted before setting stone. leveled and graded back yard and placed new sod on about 1600 sf of backyard. Every step of the way, Mike and crew chief Adan were in conversation with us assuring that we got what we (my wife primarily) wanted. I had asked for an electrical line under the patio, we got it. I asked for drainage from the gutter run-off to the alley, he made it happen. In any instance where there was a question of design or structure, they always went beyond what we asked for. In addition, our dogs (boxers) went out each morning to greet the guys and were allowed to see what was going on. Mike even suggested "dog windows" in the fence so they could see what ws going on in the neighborhood and be less likely to bark with no reason. While the work was going on, there was a lot of mess, and a lot of trash in a big pile. It was organized and controlled and one day, when I got back from work, all the mess was totally cleaned up, leaving almost no evidence of it's having been there. For Mike Holmes fans, you will understand when I say "Do It Right" and that is how Saltex does it.
