Manscaping promotes environmental quality by designing and installing fruit and/or vegetable gardens so that people have the opportunity to start their own food system. We can build planter boxes or designate certain areas in your backyard where a fruit/vegetabe garden will fit well. We select the fruits and vegetables based on the physical conditions of the yard, the time of year, and the client's tastes. These gardens are easy to maintain, cost-effective and good for the environment! When you grow your own food you are cutting down on fossil fuel used deliver food as well as taking support away from pesticide-intensive conventional farms.
Drought Tolerant Gardens
The Manscapers specialize in gardens that save water. Using both succulents, native plants, and plants that are specially suited for San Francisco's unique climate, we design native plant gardens by first surveying your yard for sunlight, temperature, moisture, soil type and select the native plant species that will thrive in that environment. We generally select a combination of shrubs, perennials, annuals, and flowers that will can co-exist to create a naturally beautiful landscape.
