Chimney Cleaning:

Do to aging or poor structure sometimes we have no choice; that old leaning, crumbling chimney just has to be re-built to vent properly to avoid dangerous collapsing. In this situation Jimney's Chimneys professionals will take you through the process step by step of how we are going to efficiently re build your chimney in a timely manner.
Chimney Re-pointing:
When there are visible cracks in the bricks or mortar, your chimney needs to be re-pointed. A Jimney's Chimneys professional will re-seal any cracks with mortar to avoid further damage to your chimney. This needs to be done promptly before enough moisture deteriorates the mortar enough to erode the chimney making it unstable.

Even if you have had your chimney relined in the past, after time some of these liners need to be replaced or repaired. A metal covering that covers the top of the chimney. Mainly used in prefabricated chimneys to prevent water from entering the top of the chimney.

''Jimneys Chimneys was refered to me by one of my neighbors when I found my chimney wasn't working properly. Not only did Jimmy answer all my questions, but his workers that came to my house were just as professional and knowlegable. Oh right. You get to deal with un-sexy home repair like chimneys.
We moved into our home and realized that the chimney had never been properly cleaned in some time, and bricks were starting to collapse and clog it. The result? Creating a carbon monoxide bomb in your house. I might note that you do not need to have a fireplace for this to happen. We do not have one, but all of our heating ducts run through our faux chimney which was now obstructed with debris.
Well, the good news is if this scenario does happen to you, Jimney's Chimneys will take care of it for you. In one Saturday, they came out and unclogged our chimney and replaced a heating duct. The price was on par with similar services. I was just pleased it only took us a few hours on a Saturday to deal with this, instead of constant back-and-forth and repeat visits. For un-sexy maintenance as this was, it was unnoticeable and non-intrusive as repairs like this should be.''
