Hein Lighting and Electric has been serving the greater Bay Area since 1973, as electrical contractors. We handle all phases of electrical work, from large construction projects to residential needs. Currently the company employs approximately twenty five employees, of which 90% are electricians.

Ed Hein, father of Jim Hein founded the company in 1973. In 1988, Jim and his brother Richard took over the complete operations of the company and incorporated it in 1992.
Jim Hein is the organization’s President and has been with the company since graduating from Del Valle High School in 1976. He handles the sales and marketing duties, oversees the Service Division and handles general operational needs of the company. Jim shows a dedication to his Company and employees that can only be matched by his complete loyalty to his customers. Richard Hein was the company’s Chief Executive Officer from 1988 to December of 2006. He is currently working on new projects.
