Shannon started cleaning and helping me with my daily routine in 2009,right around when her mother started to show the signs of her terminal illness. She deep cleaned my house every week, because I lived in condo and haad 2 small dogs. Shannon always made my condo smell fresh and look new. She did all the linoleum on her knees, said she didn't believe in mops. She moved furniture to dust and vacuum, got all of the soap scum out of my bath tub, and helped me get organized. She also helped me to bathe and dress because i had just had an operation.
Shannon was never late or missed a day, but we went by a schedule that allowed her to be available to take care of her mother. She was like family to me. I only stopped using her because her mother became a full time job and I got better and could do a lot more myself. I would use her agin if I needed her.
My overall experience was excellent. The young women today do not clen as we once did and shannon did that and more. She was extremely detailed and would finish the job even if it went overtime and I couldn't pay her.

Shannon had put up fliers advertising a cleaning service and I rent out several properties and my husband builds houses. I had been searching for someone who could take on big jobs and do a great job, and I was about to give up and pay a cleaning service a ridiculous amount of money when I saw the flier and took a chance. Turns out she was exactly what we needed! The work was move-ins which is getting places ready for new tenants, move outs which was cleaning up messes tenants had left and cleaning up and making the house liveable after it was built.
She is extremely detail oriented, I was surprisd that she thought of everything that had to be done! Walls had to be washed, appliances and bathrooms were sometimes awful but she had them looking new, pretty much detailing everything like cleaning out cabinets, getting rid of trash, floors, sometimes carpet cleaning, refrigerators, ovens, you name it she did it. Some jobs took her 2 days working 8-10 hours each day. She sometimes brought a sister in to help.
She never let me down by not showing up, if something came up she had a solution for still getting it done. She made her own hours, and always finished the jobs. She had to stop working to care for her sick mother, but she was great. I would definitly use her again but I am about to move across the country if i could take her I would.
She is definitly professsional, honest, dependable and caring. She took pride in the work and that made me worry less. For example, a shower was so bad with soap scum no other cleaner had even tried to get it completely clean. Shannon went out and found the best products and she worked on that shower until all the soap scum was gone. She always went above and beyond my expectations. Anyone who hires her will be lucky and grateful!

I had just started getting more clients in 2006 and I hired Shannon to help me with the extra work. She was very reliable, always on time, never called out and I never had to double back and check her work. We did big and small houses and sometimes we did really big jobs like getting rentals ready or cleaning up after renters moved. We did very detailed cleaning and Shannon was very good at it. This included washing walls, scrubbing floors, scrubbing bathrooms, cabinets, refridgerators, ceiling fans, baseboards, etc. she was an excellent worker and I still call her now and then but business slowed down and she started school.
Shannon was a neighbor of mine for a short while before I moved. I was working full time, and Shannon would clean for me a few times a week, doing odd jobs and basic cleaning such as windows, laundry and linen changes, floors, and carpets, dishes, dusting, and help me take the trash out. She was very thorough with her cleaning, always doing more then expected and usually provided her own materials, which was a plus.
Shannon is my step daughter but she knows I wouldn't lie for her to get a job. I was married to her mother for 24 years before she died last month. Shannon always helped her mother around the house, and when she got her first professional cleaning job on 2004, she made one of my houses her project because we have 18 cats and 2 dogs, plus everyone who lived there smoked. She dedicated at least one day a week to detailing my house. She would scrub the floors because if you use a mop ,it doesn't look like it was even touched. There was a lot of work needed in the showers and she bought every type of product and did everything she could to get the scum and lime up. She washed walls, dusted, did baseboards, organized pantry and fridge, basically stuff no one ever did. I own two properties in MD and renters have made them barely liveable. She offered to clean down there, but I haven't gotten her to do it yet.
The biggest help Shannon was to me was over the past year while her mother was on end of life hospice. She took care of her mom, made us home cooked meals, cleaned and sanitized constantly, watched my granddaughter and took care of her mom until the day she died last month. Her help was a blessing and because of the work she did for her family, she could not work any other jobs, She had to take medical leaves 2 semesters in a row until the school told her she could take her classes online. Even with her mother deteriorating all through Jan and Feb she managed to get high A's in two accelerated classes.
I know dealing with her mom 24-7 was tough, in the end she had to feed her, bathe her and do everything for her, yet she still made sure there was a home cooked meal daily and the house was clean. Shannon has always been a big help to me and I am not just saying that because shes my stepdaughter, without her help this year, I know I would have lost my house , being unable to leave her mom alone. Shannon sacrificed a lot and she deserves to start working again and get back on her feet. She is a hard worker, reliable and detailed. I will definitly be using her to fix up my rental properties and to help out when I need her. Whoever hires her will be blessed to have her.
