Dave's Fixit, Handyman in Cupertino, CA

Probably ok as a handyman, but may not be good for fixing any major plumbing jobs. He clearly says what he can do and what he cannot. Since he could not fix our issues, he did not charge us even though he spent more than an hour.

Great. I will use Dave in the future (I am making a list). My family room overhead light was not working. It was not a difficult fix but required someone with good knowledge to fix as opposed to replace the fixture. Dave figured out the problem, fixed it and explained it to me so I could try to prevent it in the future. He also helped out with a rain gutter. I wanted to establish a working relationship with a handyman that would allow me to make a list and feel comfortable to contact from time-to-time. Dave's the guy.

Dave is local gem, found possibly only through services like Redbeacon - because otherwise, can only find people like him through words of mouth. He is thorough and considerate, and explains and discusses with you what he would do beforehand and during the repair process. You can tell he always aims to apply the best solutions he knows. He is also very honest - tells you upfront what he feels comfortable fixing and what scope is beyond him. He then takes his time fixing/repairing. Though he spent more time than he initially estimated and took time to ensure he does it right and the job is of good quality, he stuck to the original quote (his price is very reasonable to begin with). After the job, we even got him to help repair a broken blind, which he took home for the night, figured out how to fix it over the night and charged little for it. Very amicable, like a good neighbor, Dave is a must-recommend as a handyman.

Dave was very courteous and arrived on-time. He completed the jobs asked and explained what he was doing as he went along. Prices were reasonable.

This is my first time to use redbeacon, and I even though I requested only a gasket change, I decided to replace the whole faucet. Dave charged me $50 as agreed through redbeacon message system. I was out of town, so I arranged everything online and Dave did an excellent job. I will definitely consider him for other handyman job in the future.

Dave was absolutely fantastic. Came on time and got right into it. Although the job was actually much more complicated than we both expected eh didn't complain and declined to adjust the price. Will definitely use again.
